I'm ordering a few of those blank covers, you never know when you will run into a GI Joe artist at a convention, say like Assembly Required in November.........

I already have some coming for the Transformer vs GI Joe #1 that's coming out, they are the only ones I ordered for that series because, y'know, that art........

At least this way the cover art will be nice.

Another reboot or does it follow the current story line?
Seems like even comic writers don't know where to go with the franchise.

For those interested, Karen Traviss is the author of the Star Wars Republic Commando novels. So she knows her way around pseudo-military sci-fi stuff. Not crazy about Steve Kurth's art but it is a LOT more to my tastes than the Scioli art in the TF/G.I.Joe book.

I'll have to see if my store can get me one or two of that blank cover. I've been wanting to get a sketch on a blank cover but could never find a title I read with a blank cover. But this one (even with the foil enhancement) might be just what I'm looking for.

Will definitely be checking it out as I really enjoyed a lot of Traviss's work on Star Wars.

Think I'll be sticking with Larry Hama -- and I'm trying to decide if I really like this book's logo or don't.

It's not a reboot, it's a relaunch. The current story has been leading in this direction for a while.

I'm not a comics collector these days. If I go to a show and find some cheap, I'll get them. So far the only recent Joe comics I've read that made me interested in picking up more of are the Hama continuation ones.
