Well, I promised Kilcarr I'd post this here because he's so jealous of it and I wanted to prolong his envy.

From what I hear, this isn't available in the US right now, which is a shame.

With the fun I'm having with the C-130, I have to think I'll need to track this down too if able. Awesome pics and vids. Can tell how much you dig it

Note: The pics above show it without any decals applied except the one it came with. I've removed the face and applied just a handful of the stickers.

Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite ever finds. If only it had existed 30 or so years ago.

Are they deployed to the canals of Amsterdam?

The face makes it look a little cartoonish, but get past that, and that's one cool sub! G.I. Joe never really did a LARGE submarine, so this does a nice job of filling that gap, and you certainly get enough other cool stuff with it.

And Pluv -- VERY impressive photo!

Man, that's awesome.

Thanks for sharing the pics, I hadn't heard of this one. Here's hoping it makes it to the states!

I think what's best is it's such a blank slate. It can be Joe, Cobra, IG, etc. There's enough to it to be happy with it as it or you can fill all the space with a ton of cool little details and consoles, etc.

Love subs, and that one is way better than the Blue Box one I saw many a year ago that had one side cut-away from com to propeller.

With the right customizing, you could seriously pull off one sweet Nautilus and Captain Nemo if wanted. A couple of fins here, and there, and pipe organ in the front, and well, boom!

Post subject:  Chap Mei Submarine Pics.

Two years ago I customized their cool AC 130 as the classic '80s Marvel Comics G.I.JOE C 130:

http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showima ... geuser=444

If I found and buy the Chap Mei submarine (very "kiddish" i.m.o.) I'd paint all the exteriors with a flat black and the interiors with a light grey.

Wish I had space for vehicles.
