TNI reports as Justin has that this set will be available at TRU brick and mortar. Hopefully it has a unique SKU and is available online.

Not sure I like the gold star on Flint's chest, but Hasbro absolutely nailed the vintage figure's paint scheme. Can't wait to add this set to my collection.

So.

Odd thing to say but...

Anybody wanna swap out the Eels and NLCs with me?

Like I want the urban camo VAMP and Flint. And I want the black NLC and the black/red/gold Eel. But I can pass on the vintagier stuff.

I will. I have 2 sets ordered from BBTS. Would love to trade for the vintagier VAMP and Flint. Just contact me if and when you get your hands on this to trade.

I actually don't care for the vintage look for the set. It isn't bad and if that was all we were getting I'd be fine with it. But I actually like the urban look and the figures colors with that set more. Like a lot more.

According to Dave Proctor in the GI Joe Discussion group on Facebook, he updated the sculpts for the shovel, ax, grease gun, silenced pistol, automatic shotgun, Resolute Destro's rifle, Viper rifle, and the EEL speargun. That is on top of the hinged flippers. Now he also said most of the new weapons got put in one mold but there was a completely different set of weapons that were all used previously. He's not sure if both VAMP sets will have the same weapons shown with these or if each one will come with a different set.

I like the additional red trim on the Eel.

Makes it look like Undertow a little bit.

I'm not too crazy about Flint's torso, but as a whole, best looking vintage Flint offered in the ME style. I like the VAMP as well. I could see myself picking up a couple of each VAMP/NLC set.

If that gold star is an issue, a magic eraser and some elbow grease should take it right off.

This is the modern Flint I've been waiting for. I already pre-order all the other sets, just this is missing until now.

The star is an odd addition to Flint, but it's small and probably pretty easy to ignore. Overall, this is looking like a great set!

Yup, I'll have to keep an eye out for TRU pre-orders for this one. Still doubting that this line will make it to Canada.

Makes me wonder if they worked the star onto every figure in the line (unlikely since nobody noticed them yet) or if Flint is the only one. If unique to Flint, why was he singled out? Is it an SDCC shared exclusive thing?

Maybe Flint became a sheriff.
