EDIT: Decided to follow suit with others and keep one thread, and just update it with my new reviews, rather than have lots of threads.

So just keeping on scrolling down.

Also of note, I changed Domain names so the yourtoynation domain should work for now, but eventually I'll try to change them all to the new yournerdnation (to reflect the fact that i want to review videogames and movies etc. and not just toys)

FIRST REVIEW: FSS JINX

I didn't get the FSS, Jinx was the only one i really wanted and felt was worth it, so when she went on sale individually, i grabbed her really quick. I wasn't dissapointed.

Image
She is battle ready with good articulation. A little tall, but fixable. She has great paint detail, but mine did have some issue with missing paint in the hair.

for the rest of the pictures and the review hit up http://yourtoynation.com/2013/01/27/fss-jinx-review/#more-230

Great pics! Jinx is a great figure. Just badly over priced. Thanks for sharing

Cool review, I like the figure till about the neck and head. I'd have to modify it else it would bug me forever.

The colours and the use of the Resolute Scarlett bodysuit are fetching to say the least.

I do believe it is the dio piece from the Spawn Movie final battle set, minus the large upper body of the Violator (which I assume is removable, I didn't think it was until seeing revsears's pictures.

In my day, all ninjas wore pajamas and we wouldn't have it any other way.

that's correct, It's a great piece after you remove the monster bits. I really wish Mcfarlene would have done more in 3 3/4 the play sets and designs were great.

I really need get some kind of glass for Destro to hold, I already have a chair to throw in, but if could have swirling brandy in his hand or something, it would look excellent.

I know a few great reviews have been done, but I had to put in my two cents too @ http://yournerdnation.com/2013/03/28/mu-new-hulk-review

Nice set, though quite what a covert operation in enemy territory is doing with a Flak cannon is beyond me.

What do you mean? Seems perfectly logical for them to have an extremley heavy, cumbersome, stationary weapon that needs a crane and large truck or a helicopter to transport. Also, the fact that it fires a large projectile whose point of origin could most likley easily be tracked by basic radar systems is another plus.

On the serious side, I do like the Night Force Flak. I actually didn't think about that aspect until you said that. I guess it could be there because it was a relatively inexpensive piece for the convention to produce.

I could think of it as a mobile HQ set and a Flak sitting along side for coverage. Close to the enemy line but not over. It wouldn't be out of the question that it was hauled in in pieces, then assembled on the spot. a self destruct mechanism would allow them to leave it behind and blow as an extra punch.

It's not Stealth Force, guys, it's Night Force. It's your own fault for assuming they are attacking at night to be stealthy.

LJ looks pretty sweet. I really really want to like Steeler, but I'm just not there yet. The head is about the worst of all the 25th sculpts we got, so re-using it is disappointing. The torso is a step in the right direction, but still lacking from capturing the feel of the original sculpt, which was much sleeker. I know this is NF, but if the sculpt were right I'd track one down and paint it up all classic style.

I'm just yanking chains.

In the end it's whatever the owner wants to use it as, as it stands the Flak cannon looks really nice and that Steeler would be hard to turn down.

you know it's a simple but astute point your making. I think all of us connect these guys with stealth, night lends itself well to that, but your correct, it's not called stealth force.
