George of the Moderately Geeky podcast posted in the GI Joe Discussion Facebook group about this Amazon pre-order from Running Press for this lights and sound mini HISS and mini book.
http://www.amazon.com/G-I-Joe-Cobra-H-I ... 762454520/

If you've ever been to Barnes & Noble and seen the mini kits for everything from Snoopy to the Hunger Games to Harry Potter to Batman's Bat signal, to Star Trek phaser, then this is like those. A neat mini toy packed with 10 pages of fluff about whatever the property is. Amazon says these will be available in September.

Anyone know what scale it is? I'd get a couple if its comparable to HO scale or even Hot Wheels/Matchbox. It'll be sort of funny to have Cobra invading the town under the Christmas Tree

I have the Bat-signal. The HISS is a perfect addition. Thanks for the tip.

I've been guessing 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" based on the size of those mini kit boxes. That would probably put this more in line with Galoob's Star Wars Action Fleet stuff or Transformers G1 Bumblebee.
