So Boss Fight Studio (former Hasbro designers) are starting up their own 4" line. For those who haven't been following them on Facebook, they opened up their webpage today. http://bossfightstudio.com/ Under BFS product look at some of the ideas of stuff they want to make. This has the potential to be awesome. |

I especially want mini-Optimus Prime and 1940's spaceman vs Martian Manhunter from their space line. Hopefully these do well and they come up with a lot of good options. I know a lot of guys here go for the fantasy/mythological stuff, but I really hope they do an adventurer style line. |

I hope their 4th 'assortment' is civilian/real world with zombie variants. Such a line would work best as a 4H Glyos line, but I'll take whatever I can get. |

I'd love the 4th assortment to be: 1- Adventure theme (Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider with tribesman, mummies, walking statues, etc..) 2- Monster Hunters (Wolfman, Vampire, Mummy, Merman and the hunters facing them) |

Spartans look nice. Price will be a major factor for me. I'm pretty tired of the whole Lego-Megablocks-Minimates-Kreo thing. So those do nothing for me. |

Somebody needs to stop and look further down the forum to the pre-existing thread, yo. |

Huh. Likes: ball-jointed elbow rather than the terrible MU-style bicep swivel and hinged elbow; proper ball-jointed feet rather than the terrible rocker joint; what appear to be nice proportions and sculpting. Dislikes: what's going on with the upper thighs? And that butt-screw is just bizarre: perhaps the idea is to make it easier to swap upper or lower bodies by making the figure split in half (I assume there's a swivel joint at the belt that's held in place by the two halves of the waist), but it's really strange-looking and doesn't feel particularly functional. Oh well; any company making non-licensed toys has my interest, so I'll be curious to see how this stuff turns out. |
