as best as I could tell, it was just this set (sorry for the glare, took the pic while it was in my trunk) - but was listed on clearance. Their clearance is confusing to say the least right now.

Anyway, normal price $29.99, listed at $19.99. I was going to pass, even then, until I realized these pieces might link up with that jungle set Gaigan-Dnok posted in the review section. So I decided to get it...then it rang up at $11.98. Almost went back for more but decided I'd check it out at home first.

Also then instantly made me wonder what the hell is up with the clearance. Apparently 30% extra off of "brown" clearance tags, and 40% off green? Also, snagged 4 more of those drink mix test tube thingies.

I'll be interested to see how you feel about this set. I've been eyeballing it simply for that tomb piece on the lower left.

I'm going to predict that the tomb piece will only go down from here, in terms of how it looks. I'm sure it will have an unsculpted plain interior. But as long as the door opens, It seems like a great part to add to a dio.

The other part (still looking only at the unopened box) that caught my eye was the pirate skeleton piece. Might mod it to be something more versatile than pirate only, by chopping off the hat. But that piece alone would run near $10 as a prop from a caster. Add in the fact that the heads on the two pirates in the set can be of some use, and it's definitely a value.

I picked up the Pirate Island set really cheap during a previous sale at my TRU. I've been watching for the Pirate Fortress to be on sale as well, but it hasn't happened yet.

You're right about the strange clearances at TRU.
