From GIJCC:

"G.I. JOE H.A.V.O.C. MK-II (Add-On Vehicle purchased separately) will be available in late spring from the GIJCC Store. This 2014 Limited Edition club exclusive vehicle will be $42 + shipping! Based on the colors of the original H.A.V.O.C. driven by CROSS-COUNTRY, this vehicle features an opening canopy, free-rolling wheels, a moveable windshield wiper and hi-velocity X-1 torpedoes. Plus, you can elevate the vehicle's launcher to rotate 360 degrees and fire four missile accessories! [Vehicle will be bagged with accessories and some assembly is required. Cross-Country figure NOT INCLUDED.] The H.A.V.O.C. [Heavy Assault Vehicle Ordnance Carrier] MK-II combines the stamina of a tank with the handling of an off-road vehicle. The result is a machine that makes its own road over tough terrain to battle the evil forces of COBRA."

If I didn't know shipping was gonna be about $18, I may have gotten a little excited.

It's a cool repaint (though I wish they'd given it different side armament than ski torpoedos), but I can pass on it at that price.

Instead of having his own vehicle, Cross Country will make a fine crew member for the Patriot Grizzly I have my Steeler commanding.

Um, does a half-track really have better off road capability than a tank?

Yeah, I'm going to pass too. A green snow cat makes no sense to me. Besides, I'd rather use the money for the VAMP2s and Wolf set coming. Or Green Night Vipers if I can find them. :(

I'm a sucker for half-tracks, so I'm going to have to get one. I always wanted a Snow Cat in OD or tan, so now I get one. I do wish they'd have gone with something besides the ski-pedoes, but that's a minor thing.

I'll try to get one. I'm not crazy about the green color but I love the Snowcat so why not. I won't be shelling out for more than one though, unless they hit discount in a couple years.

I wonder if they'll have these in time for the convention.

If these are at the Con, I'll probably grab one or two... not worth it if I have to pay the Club's shipping prices on top of Club Prices.

In one of their facebook posts, they claimed that photo is a photo of the actual toy, not a photoshop mockup - which means the toys are done. Which means they should have them at the con, if they wanted to sell a bajillion of them.

So which one of you guys is going to cast a set of Havoc cannons that will fit on the ski-pedo pegs?

The club's prices are enough to kill any interest to purchase one. But... I'm completely okay with this. The design used for the Snow Cat looks more multi-environmental than specific to just an arctic one, so "greening" it makes perfect sense.

I can't think of anything that the club could've thrown in as a substitute for the hovercraft, that would have strengthened the design.

Honestly, I wouldn't count on them being at the convention. In terms of prices from the club, $42 is pretty decent. That is where the they stick you for the $15-18 on shipping. After all, the 2012 convention had a $100 cargo truck and a $75 helicopter and they sold out of those. So why would they sell them at the convention for $42 when they can know they can sell them with overpriced shipping added on to price? If they have any leftover next year, sure they will probably be there. But now? I would be very surprised.
