Never heard of this stuff before, but it's a good thing I deposited my tax return today.

Promo pics

BBTS pre-orders

HLJ only has the dune buggy listed, but they'll surely get more and no doubt be cheaper than BBTS in the long run.

I preordered one figure. Looks like some pretty neat stuff.

I hadda go for the 2pack. The dio-set for 'only' $5 more is too cool to pass up. I dig the dune buggy (esp in mech mode), but that tank is much too cool to pass up. With the big bubbledome head, it'll mesh very nicely with my five ScopeDogs.

So...ehhh...hmmmm...

So what Scopedogs do you have (what brand)?

This stuff does look great. I don't really have a use for it, but I'm glad to see a company trying to start a hyper-detailed, boutique-y line in 1:18: the 12" market has been getting this level of detail and high-end product for years, so it's about time it filtered down to my preferred scale. I thought about pre-ordering one of the figures, but I wouldn't have a use for it as-is, and the differences in construction would keep me from using it for custom purposes.

But, yeah, bring on the pricey, collector-targeted 1:18 specialty lines! They might be our only hope for anything beyond the reduced-articulation crap we're getting from everyone else lately.

The Takara MicroMan ones. Got the Spacepack green one, the light purple one, and three of the blue one with the claw hand (altho two of those were used via a Fwoosh hookup last year). I'll likely get the Marine deco of this lines tanks.

sgartz- You most certainly do too have a use for this stuff as part of your Joe collection. Two words and a number: BattleForce 2100, yo.

Hot monkey crap, check out the stuff on this Kit Lau guy's blog. I think I need to have his babies now...

It's amazing what a passionate designer can do without all the corporate red tape.
Fantastic looking line.

They're really cool, but too expensive for me. I wish they weren't. I'm really tempted by the figure, though.

The cost only hurts once, but the love lasts forever.

This is how you do packaging worth saving:

I wonder if we'll get the two individuals here, you can see the 'Zamai trooper on the left. Lau has b/w proto pics of more of them on his blog.

Real fabric ascot?

Another trooper on the bottom shelf?

I wish I had the cash for this level of armybuilding!

Good to see the Mk I Speeder in full. I quite like the silverwhite deco at bottom. It's quite Ghost-in-the-Shellish, and I bet my GoodSmile Motoko will look right at home driving one. That and a green Marine deco puts me in for two. I hope Lau does something to spice up the various Sol Cmdrs. Diff paint decos to a minor detail here or there would help liven up what end up being monotonous. Maybe offer the individuals pictured earlier as single-cards while having the Sols all come w/ the vehicles.

I have no real interest in this line. It's excellent work on the articulation and paint apps but the story doesn't appeal to me and all my interest begins with the story.

The faced characters look pretty cool.
They remind me of the cool Microman customs and garage kits that came out during the Material Force days.

I like those vehicle, but the price will keep them away for awhile, however maybe I buy one or two mechs in the next semester.

This is quite possibly the saddest thing I've ever read on this site, man. Make your own story!
