| Post subject: | Eaglehawk Question |
Hey, I think I made an unexpected discovery about the Eaglehawk Helicopter this evening. Maybe. Its propeller blades fold back. Sort of an accidental discovery. I brushed against the copter, and then noticed that one of the blades was not aligned. At first I thought it had come loose, but then I noticed it seemed to move while staying in the socket. If it's SUPPOSED to do this, it would certainly make display a little easier. But -- I'm not sure it's SUPPOSED to do this, and I certainly don't want to damage the copter. Anybody got any confirmation of this? |

I think it is supposed to do that. I remember it being talked about before. Not sure though as I have not opened mine. |

Yeah it's one of the features. They showed it off at one of the conventions last year, I forget which. But yeah it's supposed to do that. |

Like Navy and Marine helos, the blades fold for storage in tight quarters. |

Interesting. I have not put the blades on mine for that reason. I didn't want to break them when I had to store it. |

They're also designed to pop out, unlike the original. |

First of all, thank you to the respondents. I appreciate the information, and this will certainly make the display and, if need be, storage of the EagleHawk much easier. Secondly, to HypnoHustler, thank you for adding the line, "unlike the original". If someone had said that the original Tomahawk had been capable of this, and I'd somehow missed it for twenty-eight years -- I REALLY would've been upset... |
