One would hope that there will be some way to keep the inappropriate material to a minimum. This could actually be a cool idea. Certainly there's been plenty of story and concept ideas played out right here on JoeCustoms. Maybe it's time for some of us to become scribes as well as customizers! |

This is a serious shift in the brand. They are actually giving out a free license to build on the brand, and create new IP. Managing and owing the IP was such a huge thing for them in the past, and opening it up like this... Well frankly its bloody almost unheard of since Dragon magazine. I really hope that this works out well for them, as it goes a long way to legitimizing fan fiction creations. I would for instance, love to read a story penned by General hawk, covering his dio series of many a year ago, and wrapping up the story. There is a lot to work with here for the right people. - R |

The best part about it is that the weirder the fan fiction, the longer the fan fiction. There's going to be a nine novel long mega series exploring the romantic relationship between Roadpig and a Buzz Boar that got struck by lightning and became sentient. |
