If you don't like rap as a music genre, don't click the link. However, if you want GI Joe influenced rap lyrics with a cool video go check it out.

I'm not a big rap person either, but Wordburgler's stuff is always really well done. It's worth a watch just for the visual effects, which are surprising well done.

This is cool. My wife asked why I was laughing. She rolled her eyes when I told her.

I love the song, really fun to listen to. The video was equally good until about halfway through, then the scenes kind of got repetitive. I would have liked to see some more variety. But still a good watch.

Rap Viper looks allot like Mercer from Special Missions Manhattan!

My first time listening - that's pretty awesome, Even Shadowtracker gets a shout out

"Once got busy in the back of a Buzzboar." I think he won the internet today.

If you want to get a little deeper into Joe-flavored hip-hop, check out Nathan Haskill. He's got a bunch of stuff on Youtube, and while not every song has Joe-related stuff in it, the majority do, and all of them are pretty solid listens (probably not safe for work, though). He uses a lot of sound-bites from the Joe cartoon, and references to other childhood toylines are sprinkled throughout, as well. His day job is at a place I frequent for work, and he's a good dude, too. He's also got a project called ColdSlither that's worth a listen, as well.

I'm glad no one was still in the room when I was watching that, as it probably would have been embarassing with me laughing so loud at that line.

You can definitely hear the DJ Premier influence in his beats and scratching (and to a lesser extent Ice Cube in some of his latter lyrical delivery). I never thought i'd mention DJ Premier in a comment about GI Joe rap songs.

We live in interesting times.

I guess the skeet skeet Baroness reference wont be far behind.

If this video proves anything, it's that cobra troopers have no rhythm at all.

His entire joe related album is great. He pulls a lot of info straight out of the comics and the cartoon.
