Saw the Robocop movie figures (by Jada) at TRU today. No bike/figure combo. For $6.99 I thought I'd give the black version (the 3.0 model) a try. Overall opinion, not bad. ![]() Plastic The overall feel is close to the feel of the Tron Legacy figures, minus the breakage. Probably because of the hollow torso. The limbs feel sort of rubbery but not melty rubbery. Articulation Actually pretty decent. Ball head but limited to side to side with very minimal up down. Very minimal. Hinge/swivel shoulders and elbows. No wrist articulation. The hups also have hinge/swivel but the plate armor on the legs limit the side to side articulation but the hibge/swivel knees help him get into a shotting stance at least. The hips on mine did seem kind of loose like there isn't mich holding them in place. And he can sit decently as well. No feet/ankle articulation. ![]() ![]() Accessories Pistol and a sub machine gun with an arm clasp stock. The pistol is solid. The machine gun anlittle rubberier but bot bad. Closer to Star Wars weapons in feel than PTE. His bare pistol hand has the trigger finger that works great with the pistol while his black other hand has the thunb and trigger finger connected with a slot in it for the machine gun grip. ![]()

Have you popped the head off to see if it'd fit on a Joe body? |

What about height are they the same as the Joes? Smaller? Bigger? I hope they are more or less the same. |

![]() That's a new sculpt o-ring Torch. So pretty much spot in size wise. Neck ball and the neck ball socket. Matches really well with the smaller Hasbro necks. ![]() Head swap

Ye but we still see so many critical people about them. I know they aren't Joes but still we have figures for the movie which is good. I was actually not expecting them. Yes it lacks some other characters. But Jada never made action figures and they made some good ones for someone just starting. |

That picture made me miss my Robo-1 car. Falcon used to ride in it all the time... when he wasn't running on the rooftops as the White Tiger. |

Robo Cop looks like a Tron Legacy Figure. |

I found these yesterday. I got one of each and couldn't resist getting 2 more of the black armor ones. I want to make a trooper or something with them. They do look neat. They need wrist articulation and that hand needs to be painted to match. |

I nabbed one of the black ones, and just opened it last night. I have to admit, I'm not a fan of it, at least not for the price. That said, the head and the guns are useful to me, so I can at least justify it to a degree. The static torso is ok for this character, obviously, so that's not a complaint. But the limbs just aren't sturdy enough, and don't move enough to be useful. Reminded me a bit of some of the Gamestars figures, with less artic. Interesting but of limited overall use (for me personally). That said, I'll buy them on clearance for the guns, if cheap enough. |
