Howdy, y'all.
I've been thinking about a H.I.S.S. III I've been trying to customize (or it's blue 25A counterpart), and even before I'm done, I already have a crew in mind.
Are there any Joe, Cobra, or otherwise vehicles in which you already know who you want to pilot them?
For example, here is my crew for H.I.S.S. (III) '888' (a.k.a. the "Easy 8s"):
W.O.R.M.S. -- I may repaint one in Cobra Officer colors later. Either way, this is Specialist Tequila (sp.?), the driver or backup commander.
Viper v8 -- The second 2002 Vipers are my choice for military police operations. On my H.I.S.S. III, he is usually the gunner.
Cobra Squad Leader, customized -- using a head from the 2004 Cobra Infantryman (black), arms (with E-7 patch) from the scar-faced Squad Leader, and body of the other (E-5) Squad Leader, this guy is my answer to the black Cobra Officer/Squad Leader seen in "The Traitor". He is also the Easy 8s' commander, and also alternates as gunner.
Cobra Infantry Trooper (2004) -- He is usually there to round out the group, a non-descript blueshirt, hitching a ride, and offering small arms support. (A 
would work better, but wouldn't look as cool using Destro v3's sub-machine gun, or a Marauder Inc. AK-47/Dragunov SVD.)
I wish I could use the same crew on the 25A blue H.I.S.S., but I'd need for Hasbro to make a upsized version of
and
v8 (this time, with Viper pants and boots). How they'd make that blue-purple swirled camo pattern is beyond me. As for the Officer/Squad Leader, All I'd need to do is paint a Cobra Trooper/Officer head in an appropriate shade of brown.
I even have a team worked out for my blue R.H.I.N.O. (assigned to my custom Steel Brigade team), and the original R.H.I.N.O. (set aside for the main Joe team, with Cross-Country v2
as ground vehicle driver).
