http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/gidd ... long-time/

With Funko and Super7 joining forces to bring back the lost Alien figure line, they announced a few more additions to their ReAction line:

Back to the Future
Aliens
Predator
Firefly
Universal Monsters
Terminator 1 & 2
Goonies
Escape from New York

While I'll always prefer figures with swivel arms and bendable legs, these upcoming figures in 3 3/4 sound pretty cool.

Marty and Snake Pliskin joining forces to fight the Predator?
Dutch and Hicks fighting Dracula?
Count me in!

Thank you, God!!
Wow, this is fantastic news! Highlights for me are Universal Monsters (hoping
for a Creature from the Black Lagoon), Terminator 1 & 2 and Escape from New York.
I'd be real happy about the Predator line, if I thought they'd make something other than the actual Preds themselves. Dutch and his entire team would be incredible!
And since I mention "teams," let's hope The A-Team makes the list somewhere down the road.

I just hope they make enough and that the prices are reasonable. But yeah, I'll give this the proverbial "dude, I'm IN!"

Still no Terminator 3 figures? Will I ever get a Joe scale Claire Danes?

For the price they are asking they should have been modern articulated figures. :-P

Yeah, I think it's nifty that something like Alien (which had a toy line planned) got a retro-release, but I'd much rather have modern style 3.75" figures of Firefly or Terminator or Goonies or heck, just about anything.

Heck I'd take even O-ringed figures as long same articulation Corps and Joes had......

My interest will depend greatly on which characters get figures, and how much they are.
The Alien figures came out to around $13 a piece, which, to me, is a great price for the subject matter.
However, the upcoming Six Million Dollar Man figures are $20 a pop, which is over the limit I would pay for them.

If nothing else, it's a good sign that a company is looking to do an all encompassing toyline, loaded with different figures of fan favorite properties. In that regard, it's like a dream come true.

If all those lines actually get produced, I would have a toy joy induced heart attack. I'd love to be able to have a box of 80's designed "old toys" from toylines that never existed as a kid.

Just the BTTF figures alone make me hope against hope for Star Wars articulated Marty and Doc with a Delorean you can put them in.

I was talking with some other friends about this and the thing is, from the Aliens line, I'm only interested in the Aliens space suit, and only because I think I can add some articulation to it. I want Firefly and Back to the Future figures, but I don't want to pay exlcusive type prices for Kenner-esq looking figures. HypnoHustler put it to me the best. The Aliens line works because it is a "lost line" that we wouldn't have any other way in this scale. But 80's style facial sculpts with 5 points of articulation for $10 each isn't something I hankering for no matter what the property.

This sounds pretty cool, if perhaps overly ambitious on the Omega SK level. Count me in as someone who at least would want decent head sculpts, if not at least a little more than 5 points of articulation. If something decent could be made, I would certainly like some Buffy, Firefly, Escape from New York, Terminator (humans, at least), and Goonies figures (Predator could be cool too, but we already have most of those figures in the POC line :) ).

EDIT: I wouldn't mind Back to the Future figures either.

This. As it stands -- not going to pay collector prices for 5 POA figures regardless of how much I like the concepts, and there's a number here that I DO like.

If there's a BTTF Delorean to be had out of this we'll see, but otherwise, thanks, but I think not.

And yeah, darn shame that SK Omega never happened, too... :-/

It's a bummer to pay $15 for Kenner like figures, but on the other hand, these figures probably won't be mass produced like play lines from Mattel or Hasbro. I assume that those licenses aren't cheap either and that only a few tooling (if any) can be reused for multiple figures.

It is a dream come true. The problem is you dreamt it when you were 10, and the turn-around time for dream rendering seems to be a couple decades...
