Glumby has posted pics of the Retaliation Crimson Guard (it came carded). In the background you can see a pre-production version with a different coloured mask. Originally we thought this was the canceled 30th Anniversary version but it was just confirmed on facebook that it is a pre-production version. It's a nice looking figure. I was surprised to see they had the Crimson Guard body underneath. I guess I was figuring it was just some generic Snake Eyes body in red once the vest was removed. It still would have been fine, but this makes me want at least 2 more than the 2 I already hope to get. |

notpicard has deduced that there are 30 possible combinations total for the decals. |

Yeah the logos has the crazy side of me wanting to go nuts, hehe. I'm going to try and keep from doing that. I do want a few though. But if these are in store in a good stock, I might end up going a little overboard with the buying. |

That actually looks a lot better than the official images. I may get one. |

I think someone could scan those decals and make them a bit more readily available...(in case the CG doesn't show up everywhere) |

I gotta ask, was the ceremonial sword's sheath mounted incorrectly? That looks like an odd place to keep one's sword... |

Dunno if it's glued in place, but it's supposed to hang lower, so the sword kind of angles across the lower back there. The strap should be more or less vertical I believe. |

S' cool that they're bringing stickers back, but I am not so sure that these particular ones will look great on this particular figure. - R |

I'm not really feeling the decals on a figure, but the figure itself looks way better in those pics than any previous ones I've seen. |

Is that a variation on the helmet faceplate colors? Not that into the decals myself. I remember how poorly the American Flag decal worked on the original Duke. And these have to be very tiny. Overall, though, an impressive figure! |

Still not feeling the vest. Although I like it, I might shoot for three, and throw the vests in the custom box. The legs are better than the chicken legs the original had. |

GITrekker wrote: Is that a variation on the helmet faceplate colors? No. That other one is a preproduction sample. One thing missing from these images that makes th evest really cool is the shath in the back. In these images, it is twisted sideways. But you can see the strap where it attaches is meant to point downward. The sword slides in there and looks pretty cool just hanging at his back. |
