So I nabbed one of these on clearance at Target. First time I ever saw one of this model in the stores. When I put it together, the front driver's side wheel just slides on and off. I tried all of the wheels and it's all the same. It's like the end of the axle at that spot is smaller than all the others. Is this normal?

Cuz it's pissing me off.

The first I got and opened the wheel stayed on.

I haven't opened the second one yet.

If I remember correctly there should be some tabs or something on the end of the axle to hold the wheels on. Sounds like yours have a production error and are missing those tabs on the axle in question.

Yeah, no issues with the wheels on mine.

As far as the roof is concerned, I just fought with it and fought with it until I broke its spirit and won it over and it finally went on. It's as if there's one perfect spot for every tab and if you don't get it just right, it won't stay on at all.

What a stupid annoying factory error. I had a little trouble with one of the posts for the roof, but I eventually got it by changing the order I snapped them in, doing the problem one first.

The vehicle it's self is pretty sweet. It looks really sharp with the stickers, though I didn't put on the ninja crap. Or the dash board stuff, because of my big hands, and I stupidly did the stickers after assembling the thing.

Stickers? Fun thing I forgot to mention...mine didn't have any. Contacted Hasbro but they couldn't send me just a sticker sheet and said I'd have to send in the vehicle and send a new one, but could not promise it'd be the same vehicle, just something of equal value. At the time, I had never seen it before, so I just kept it. The closest Target doesn't carry vehicles, and Toys R Us doesn't clearance anything. So, mine looks cool without stickers for now. What a large array of problems with this thing.

You could try hearing the wheel and pushing the tabs in. I'd try that becore doing any other modifications.

I think if I just tighten the tabs on the wheel a little, it'll do the trick. Somehow.

I think.
