I think this is good news, as he clearly has a passion for the property.

G.I. Joe is a superior film to Transformers in every way. It is, hands down, the most action packed movie of the summer. Any kid who hates the movie should be taken out back and beaten with a two by four because I can't imagine any kid not liking this

I said it on Facebook, but for a guy the community gave a ton of crap about being a Bieber director or wouldn't know how to do a big budget action movie, the action scenes were the best part of the movie. However the pace and editing need to be fixed this go around. And for the love of Hassenfeld please shoot it in 3D from the get-go.

The action scenes were the entire movie. To be honest, I would very much like a coherent story in there to tie it all together. I know that there was one in there and it ended up on the cutting room floor, but this is the guy that is responsible for what was cut.

I loved the action scenes, but doing the whole Stormshadow story in 5 minutes or less didn't do the story justice. You could have cut 5 minutes of mountain ninja wirework ballet and fit more story in there. Or done it as 2 movies.

Chu knows what he's doing with GIJOE as a lifelong fan but the script was a disaster! For part 3 they need better writers, that is critical.

I guess this 3rd movie means no cartoon returning for a while. Shucks. Hopefully the next movie line of figures starts out like this one is ending.

I think he should make himself a small role where he says a line or two in the show.......kinda like some producers do...
