I just reread this for the 5th or 6th time and I have to say it's an interesting take on the Joe/Cobra conflict. How many of you have read it and what do you think of it's story and it's take on the characters?

I really enjoyed it (the first half more than the second, though) but I definitely see how others hated it. It's pretty much the opposite of the "MILITARY REALISM!" crowd's wishes.

Was this the manga style Joe book from a few years ago? I passed on it as I think it was in black and white and I like my comics colored.

I skipped that book. It called itself "Noir" but nothing about its contents suggested any inspiration from Noir fiction.
It was just some manga-wannabe stuff.
[cinemasnob]And if I want manga stuff, I'll stick with real actual manga, thank you very much.[/cinemasnob]
