Everybody has their price, so how much cash money would it to take to buy your collection?

Not in an emergency pinch for money and not parting it out piece by piece. If someone laid the Benjamins out in front of you to buy your whole GI Joe collection, how much would it take?

15,000k. Come and get it!

Somebody would make money if they turned around and parted it out.

My collection is nothing compared to some on here I'm sure, it would only take about $3,000 for me to say goodbye. Of course that doesn't include my customs. Those are priceless.

I was thinking 15000 for mine too but they would have to promise to take all the tubs of vehicle shells.

No one wants this "LASER BLAST" for any amount I'm willing to hassle myself for it.

If somebody laid 50k down in front of me, I would help them pack it up & load it, too.

Heck, I'd throw in some comics for that, too. And a Castle Destro. And do some commissions on top of that. AND throw a party for all their friends.

However, I wouldn't pay more than treefiddy for it, were I to buy it all over again.

As a matter of fact, knowing what I know now, I'm not sure I'd even get into collecting in the first place.

stupid vinyl models.

//jk. i love vinyl models.

Honestly, if someone pulled a truck up, I'd take $100 for everything not custom or sentimental. But they'd have to take all of it.

Except for my O13+3 and their vehicles, v1 Mutt & Junkyard and my reclaimed HISS, I'd prolly turn it over for $6000. That's $3 a figure plus 200+ vehicles, battle stations and play sets, but really, that's if I was desperate to get rid of it, otherwise $10,000.

I hate thinking about money. Kind of ironic, given where I spend my days. But I've valued my Joes a lot less ham my DC customs and Marvel figures lately. I'd entertain offers over $10,000 for the whole lot...including customs.

I'm sincerely hopeful I'll never have to ponder this question. Right now I don't even want to think about it. Money is very tight for me, but there's too much that I'd miss.

I would never do it without parting it out. Would get at least double what you could get for a bulk deal if you sell items individually.

i assume my collection means not my joes but my whole action figure collection. i have thought about it before and i dont really know what i would take for it, i mean i wouldnt expect some huge profit value for it. i would possibly sell it if i could just get the investment cost back out of it, but i dont know if i would sell it? i mean its sort of sad but this is honestly my lifes work. ive spent a majority of my free time and most of my spare money for the last 20 years doing this. but on the other hand sometimes i wish i would/could do this and just be done with it because one things for certain, if i lost it all and had to start from scratch there is no way i would do it again.

I needed some spare cash last summer. So I went in and pulled some choice pieces and made a quick $2K or so. Some of my nicest pieces though (but not all). That was a little freeing. This year I decided to start buying lots for resale. Lots being sold by people that don't know or care sell for a quarter of their value or less regularly and since it does not matter to me if I have half of the figures in the lot or not I see value in every figure instead of just the ones I am missing like alot of other bidders.

My favorite lots is when they pile all the figures into lots and then they pile all the accessories into separate lots. Sorting through to match up accessories with figures is a little bit of work but it is kinda like playing. LOL
