I have no idea if this might have just been a local phenomenon -- maybe they found a box in the back that they forgot about or something, but a Target near me had put some Retaliation G.I. Joes in the action figure section. Nobody new, just the usual faces -- Roadblock, Snake-Eyes, I think a couple of Zartans and maybe a Storm Shadow.

Odd thing, though -- the price. It was an even $10.00. Not even $9.99 or $9.95. Just -- $10.00. This struck me as unusual.

Anybody else seeing this at Targets in their area?

Yeah, I just saw these at my Target today. The weird thing was that none of the pegs (there were four) had price labels. I would have taken one to the price scanner, but I didn't want to fight through the Christmas hell-crowd to get to it.

Interesting. The ones I saw DID have price labels.

And sorry, Agent Viper, I saw no Joe Troopers. Sort of what made me think they were leftovers. Rather limited supply and variety.

I saw the same thing a few weeks ago. 1 local store put out only the Retaliation bravo vehicles. They were the regular $14.99 price. About a week later when I hit that store again, they were on clearance for 30% off. Very strange.

Probably clearing out the store room to get some holiday sales and make room for the spring reset.

Yes, they were at mine also. They were $10 and the Hiss tank and plane were $31. They did have some of the smaller vehicles have off. I found a water moccasin for $7.48. Only one they had

December is when the new (wave 1) items were supposed to arrive at retailers. Expect wave 2 after January. This isn't surprising.

Maybe not, but that's a pretty nasty price tag on the HISS Tank. Weren't they like $24.99 last time around?

They must have tacked on storage fees like tow yards do with towed cars.

TRU Canada has a BOGO sale on Joes, So I was able to score their last 2 Joe Troopers, a red ninja and 3 cobra troopers.

Clearly Target is just pulling old stock from the back room. I saw several Vintage Collection Tie Fighters and Snowspeeders yesterday. Those disappeared from the shelves a long time ago.
