I have the G.I. Joe Kre-O sets coming and want to expand the universe a bit by including some sets from other lines but I'm not sure what's compatible. I know the Kre-O, Megabloks and Lego building blocks are compatible. But I'm wondering if the scale of the vehicles and buildings between lines is relatively the same. I'm pretty sure Lego stuff will match up with Kre-O pretty well but what about Megabloks? Specifically the Halo vehicles and figure accessories. I think there is a lot of cool Halo Megabloks stuff that would look great with the Joe Kreons but I don't want to invest if the scale is off. |

Megablocks seem to have created a new figure-scale with it's recent licensed charachters with more realistic proportions. Not sure how the vehicles would accomodate "mini-figs". Mini-figs seem to have their own cartoonish scale. The older Megablocks POTC, TMNT and Marvel stuff were in this mini-fig scale. |

It's all basically compatible. All the bricks will connect. The figures will look odd if you cross brands, but I doubt kids would mind. There is a knock off brand called Best Lock that has tanks, planes, jeeps, etc. I have been considering getting one of their tanks. |

Also, try Oxford sets. Kre-o sets and figures are basically Oxford Toys sets. Yeah, your biggest problem is likely to be how lame Kreons will seem once you play with the MB Halo dudes. They're weirdly proportioned and tiny, but they're legitimate *action figures*, and 'mini-fig' doesn't do them justice, imho. |
