When do you guys expect to see new joe products?

I'm guessing at retail probably late January when most stores do their resets.

Me too. I have nothing against the RoC or Retaliation figures, but really, their heads are a little too realistically sculpted, there is a noticeable difference between them and the realistic/comic book look to the 25th/30th/PoC line.

At this point? Depends on how the movie toys do. I'm sure they'll try and move as much product under the retaliation banner as they can, but we've also seen that they're willing to put stuff that wasn't or isn't in the movie in the movie line. Plus if they can't get a decent run out of the movie stuff, I could easily see Joe go away for a while again. Those of you not interested in Retaliation product have a looong wait. 2014 at the earliest I'd say.

Well we're getting a number of 30th-style figures scattered throughout the assortments. There's a Night-Viper, a Crimson Guard, a very much 1984 Firefly and a very much 1985 Snake-Eyes.... The Eel that comes with the Night Landing also looks a lot more like a 30th-style Torpedo than any Eel I can think of.

At this point I'm just hoping that they actually have some coordinated plans for what's going to follow Retaliation, rather than the piecemeal approach that seemed to follow RoC.

Me too. They'll have had plenty of time to go over all possible sales scenarios, so hopefully they've got their ducks in a row.

At this point Hasbro has a plan. It is a matter of convincing retailers to follow the plan and not order the heck out of wave 1 and 2 and not order anything else afterwards.

I suspect that over-ordering the first 2 waves will be an issue. At least not with wave 1. What's left of wave 1 will ship to stores along with Wave 2 and given what happened last time, I suspect Hasbro didn't produce as much in anticipation of those kind of problems. Especially given retailer disinterest in the brand.

Of course over ordering is going up be a problem. That's how it's been for every movie toy line of the last 5 years. Nobody "LASER BLAST" learns. It's the same cycle over and over.
