Woot! I've been wanting this since they announced KRE-O! I almost bought the Battleship stuff just to do some custom GI Joe KRE-O figs. Sure, I'd rather it be like BTR, but since I was the only person on the planet who liked BTR, I'll be happy just getting any type of GI Joe brick sets. |

Amanda and I had a discussion about Lego a couple weeks ago in Target. She noticed the Avengers sets and said they were cool but in no uncertain terms threatened severe bodily harm if I started collecting them. That threat was repeated this morning when I tweeted this news. So beyond a Rock 'n' Roll set I think I'll have to pass on these... or find somewhere to hide them

Kre-o is a Hasbro brand. I can understand why Hasbro wants to go with them. I wonder if Richard Woodhouse will be working on these too. I'm in. Not all in, but in none-the-less. |

All I have to say so far is I hope the figures go for a more modernized approach than just what's teased. Especially since the Battleship line can easily provide with a number of modernized body armor. |

This is the most interested I have been in a new Joe product in a while. I might grab a few Transformers KRE-O now while they're cheap and available because I think this will be the first Joe/Transformers compatible toys. |

You can probably even use some of the human Kreons as Joe custom fodder.  (and the Battleship Kre-Os would be useful too, I'd bet!) |
