I've noticed that the single carded figures and three packs have disappeared from my area, leaving only the occasional vehicle. It SEEMS like, in my area at least, the figures dwindled off the shelves at pretty regular pace, and it's nice to think the line could do well despite its tie in movie being pushed so far back. Does anyone know if that's the case, or if the figures were "pulled" by Hasbro because of the film delay / or pulled by retailers for shelf space since there wasn't going to be a tie in movie?

My local TRU is the only place that carries them, my local Wal-Mart sold out and didn't get anymore in and used that space for other figures like Spider-Man.

My local TRU didn't get no more 3 packs and haven't stocked them, but they do have some vehicles, no Hiss tanks.

I think Target yanked them. 3 full pegs one day, next day all gone.

A few of the Targets around here still have single packs, but they are on the endcaps by the clearance(even though they are not clearanced), and the TRUs still have them so I'm going to say sellout, not pulled.

I know Target pulled their stuff. Wal-Mart marked theirs down, and I beleieve K-Mart did as well. TRU is still stocking what they have, but the distro centers aren't bringing in more. One of the local Targets put single figures and three packs back out recently, but I'm not sure if that's going to be a widespread thing (they were filling in empty space that had been Avengers I believe) or just that one store.

Ah, that's disappointing, I wanted to believe they sold great even without the movie to back them up.

Still, they seem to be moving through TRU pretty quickly here, and I'm starting to see the Sci-Fi/Airtight wave show back up in its place.

Target pulled them, then put some stuff back out and now it seems Target has pulled them again at a few stores in my area.

But people are finding the POC Jungle BAT wave at CVS, for those that have the stores in the area, may be worth looking.

I know a few Targets still have them in the stock rooms.

I'd have to say they yanked them as well. I never saw the remake of the VAMP or the Tread Ripper locally. I was lucky enough that friends picked them up for me. I didn't want to take a chance that they might turn up different when they do come back out.

Up until 2 weeks ago locally they had an endcap still with a variety of figures. They had just got a new stock as early as last week even. There were a fair amount of figures. This is all at Target that I'm talking about. They seemed to just disappear over night. That would lead me to say they boxed them up. I doubt they sold them out at full price. I doubt they would have sold at a clearance price either as the stores that did clearance them out didn't sell too fast. K-Mart put them at $5 a figure. I happened on 5 left and bought them out. They had some that was worth custom fodder parts.

So yeah they're probably in the back waiting for the relaunch day. When I worked at KB Toys, they'd have us hold stuff until they told us otherwise about putting it back out. Up until the store closed, there was 8 cases of those DragonFlyz figures sitting back there. They finally went out with the rest of the stuff to put in the closeout. I think they sat well over a year before that due to us being told to pull them from the shelves. So it's not unusual to think they have the GIJoe stuff just sitting back there. The bad thing is, merchandise may be beat up a bit when it does go back on the shelves.

I doubt they'll change anything from those vehicles or anything else from wave 2 since that stuff had already been produced at that point.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's all locked as is. I just didn't want to take a chance having the ability to jump on it. I do want another Tread Ripper to finish off the cage. That way I can leave one as it came out of package then another done up with the extras.

It doesn't hurt to have them now instead of waiting until next year too so that alone is worth it. I never found them in my area (few stores stock Joes anymore and those that did weren't restocking often) but since money has been tight too and there are other things I've wanted, I don't mind waiting.

Is this a really recent pulling? Because as of Wednesday Targets around me and Toys R Us both have them on the shelves. At TRU it's the same few remaining figures but Targets have a couple of pegs full--they just keep shifting where those pegs are.

TRU has PoC vehicles still on the shelf and brought out the Techno-Viper Airtight wave. No Retaliation at all.

Walmart had a few Retaliation battlekata bigger figures and guns and now those are gone too. No figures or vehicles at all.

Target had an end cap of Roadblock and masks. Just Roadblock. That is gone now too.

Kmart had a few Retaliation figures all in their clearance section.

Never saw the tread ripper or Ninja VAMP.

Same here. I would have bought that Ninja VAMP.
