What is at Big Lots right now?

I'm not sure this post is in the right place, so please move it if need be.

I'll be taking a short shopping trip to the US (New England) in the next few days where I'll be visiting a Big Lots for the first time in my life. I've read several times on this board that BL has Joes and PTE items. My question is what do they have on shelves these days? What can I hope to find?

My local Big Lots barely has a toy section at all but in the 2 aisles they do have there is no GIJoe, PTE, or anything else I could use for customs.

In the two Big Lots I frequent, they have had the Joe comic packs, PTE vehicles and Tron figs. Also, they have those mini WWF figs. Not sure if you like to re-purpose those heads or not.

Your mileage will vary since this is essentially a close out chain.

The big lots in North Haven Ct had the MARS 3 pack when I was there a few weeks ago. Don't know if they still do.

I'm using a few of the WWE Rumbler heads. It is hit or miss with some. You can check out my WIP customs thread to see the ones I am using.

BTW, the Ezekiel head fits pretty good on a 25th v1 Roadblock body.

The two local Big Lots don't seem to have a lot of new stuff. I cleaned them out of all the GIJOE comic packs and single cards over a year ago.

My Big Lots have nothing. They even open a huge one up Rt. 40 in White Marsh and all they had was 6" Star Trek.

The short answer: Not much at all. However, were you going in October/November when they stock up on PTE, you'd have a lot to choose from. Their sections are kinda weird and seasonal.

Nothing in my area either.

I remember back in 2001 or 2002 that they had a bunch of GI Joes. Bought a few laser vipers.

You will find each Big Lots with a varying degree of stuff. You could get lucky & find some left over PTE sets. However they mainly start stocking those in August.
Right now the MARS 3 packs seem to be showing up.

Well, I'm back from my short trip. I didn't find anything spectacular. There were about 4 leftover PTE Fast attack Vehicles (not my gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33194829@N08/4923197305/) and at least 20 RoC MARS 3-Packs. I left empty handed.

Yes by then they should have lots more PTE sets in.
