While looking for the perfect head sculpt for a custom figure that uses a Marvel Universe base i stumbled upon these figures from this 3 pack:

I recall long ago that the comic packs were said to have flexible forearms / soft plastic forearms so as to alleviate (eliminate?) the thumb's breaking as they did when we were kids.

Do these packs fall into the flexible plastic forearms category?

and if not...do the figures from this 3 pack ?

Who knew looking for modern stuff would kick up feelings of nostalgia. The Abernathy and Lonzo figures make me want to read the Marvel run of comics again. Those are great looking figures. It's amazing what a new head sculpt will do for an ARAH figure.

Thank you for the reply Jay. How soft are they i.e. flexible but will snap at a point or completely flexible like soft goods?

Thanks again for the quick reply.

They are more rubbery than the figures of the 80's which means that their hands are soft enough to hold pretty much any weapons without breaking. You can reshape them with a little heat too.

I'm pretty sure like most plastics they have a breaking point, but I've never reached it on any of mine.
If you've ever owned any post-1995 Star Wars figures, you should have a good idea of how much "give" the hands on these figures have.

Soft plastics can tear, especially thin areas.

Case in point early General Grievous figures, i've got one whose upper arms are partially torn, just from posing. I've seen them in ebay lots that were kid owned...not pretty. Stuck/frozen joints tear, too. Happened with a 25th Cobra trooper I had, hand tore off at the wrist.
