Too bad it never made it to production, that thing is kinda neat. Might have been better off making it a Cobra plane than a Joe plane, but then we might not have gotten the awesomeness called Night Raven. |

It's a one of a kind prototype. The price, IMO, is what I'd expect for it to fetch. And it works for me too. |

I wonder what year that prototype was made. It would just be kind of interesting to see if there was any immediate influence on it and the Major Bludd plane from the toon. |

It was created in 88 for possible release in 1989. I doubt it was influenced by the miniseries, but that does make the design even more appealing. No doubt that it would have been customized by many of us for that purpose. |
