So what do you think the chances are they'll use the bandanna head for Outback one day. I mean hell, most of that figure and gear could be used.

If it was a smaller, "cheaper" company I'd say pretty good. But Sideshow doesn't reuse heads on their figures. Even their clone troopers get unique sculpts.

If Sideshow does an Outback though I can see them going this direction with it. Grizzled, determined expression, bushier beard, headband.
