The line is 30 years old now. Thirty years. Isn't that enough time for poor Grand Slam to have an original, unshared head already? He is the only OG13 character to not get a personalized head sculpt. Grunt, Hawk, Rock 'n Roll, Clutch, and Zap were given their own original heads way back during the original ARAH run during the 2nd or 3rd versions of the characters. It took a while, but Steeler, Short-Fuze, Breaker, and Flash were all given their own during the early 2000's ARAH comic sets. Flash's head is a bit sucky, as it has an astronaut cowl covering all but the face, but it's still an original sculpt.

The first Grand Slam head was shared with Grunt and Zap, the second with Bazooka, and the 25A versions were shared with Ace and Grunt? again.

Hasbro has given some pretty lackluster characters original head sculpts. How does Aqua Viper Officer rate an original head sculpt and Grand Slam doesn't? Or Med Alert?

Hasbro could even cheat it buy spitting out another figure's head early for Grand Slam and not telling us. The Dusty head (currently used on Dollar General Duke) would have worked perfectly.

That's my thing I can't believe Hasbro hasn't made. What's yours?

25th Anniversary Grand Slam/Grunt/Flash's head started out on Grand Slam shortly before Flash came out, didn't it?

I can't believe they never got around to something resembling that Cobra Transport Copter that turned up so often in the comic books.

I know I'm gonna get something thrown at me, but non-Joe wise, it boggles my mind we haven't gotten a full sized Stormtrooper helmet like the Vader and Boba helmets.

Billy. He was a huge part of the comic. I can understand not making the scout version on the kid during the 80's. In the 90's era of ninjas, I'm a little surprised they didn't try to release him. New Sculpt era, ok where's Billy. ARAH and 25th, BILLY! BILLY! BILLY! Ok, now I get it. You hate comic characters...named Billy.

Totally agree about the transport chopper. That thing played such a prominent role, and may have even had more appearances than the Tomahawk.

I can't beleive we never got a released Cobra Island Playset, or PITT!

but we got a Clone Trooper helmet....

the Boba helmet was nice.

the stormtrooper one may depend on that British guy who has the rights to make the ones that hardcore costumers use.

On this note, It puzzles me why they never attempted to do a Cobra Trooper Helmet like the masks and stuff they have been doing for all the other properties. Also a "Mission Cobra Commander" helmet too, much like the Vader/Boba Fett. They could have done old style versions while the 25th Anniversary items were selling well, and with the new movie they could have designed a Cobra Commander helmet like the movie helmet. Lots of stuff that would have sold pretty well.

I can't believe that they're not making Snake Eyes sunglasses anymore. :-D

I can't believe that they're not making a line of miniatures and scaled playsets.

As a kid, I had always thought that it was a no-brainer that Hasbro would make a C-130 gunship. Like the cobra transport helicopter, it was featured somewhat prominently in the comics. It probably would have cost around the same as one of the headquarters sets. Think of all the cool features it could have had: vehicle bay, maybe with a parachute pack, gun stations, command station, an exclusive Wild Bill pilot.

Dr. Venom. I mean a ARAH retail version...they came up with the comic packs and then ignored one of the most requested comic characters ever.

And Billy, not even a lazy new head on Storm Shadow v1 version.

I was surprised that we never got a sungalsses/scarred Snakeyes head.

Cobra transport copter for sure.

Any of the comic book Oktober Guard during the ARAH-era.

Billy...SS v1 with a new head? I mean come on!

The snake-headed robots from the original toon. What cool updated Snake armor that would have made back when they were doing mechs.

Also surprised we haven't seen the rest of Cobra La (and Pythona) in modern format.

I wonder if we'll see a Stars and Stripes-type set using that new sweater/pants combo from PoC Snake Eyes/Stalker and Steel Brigade. Do it in classic O13 colors and I bet folks would buy it.
