It looks like I was wrong...

I haven't bothered with the local flea market in this are for at least a year now, probalby more, since there was hardly ever anything worth getting out there, since Nova snagged that Starduster right out from under my nose (it's ok, I got Overlord... )

Anyway, this past weekend, the wife and I went out there jjust to see what was there...

After milling around for a while, and getting 2 carded Star Wars figures for $9, I spotted a box of color that looked right for being GI Joe. So I meandered over and almost crapped my pants right there. It's a good thing I have developed a good flea market poker face, because the box had a bunch of loose Joes, mostly army builders, mostly in real nice shape. All of it 4 for $10

After a little bit of hemming and hawing, this is what I settled on



Now, I've never even SEEN a Ninja Viper in person before, and this sucker is in DAMN fine shape. And that Stinger Driver is mintier than any of the ones already in my collection. I had to throw back a few good figures to keep in my budget, but I am super pleased with what I got, all for $2.50 a pop.

Awesome, you found an Ayy Vida! I like that figure very much. That would probably be the only Twi'Lek that I would keep as one. All the others I have had were turned into various Elves over time. Even Asajj got a wig and as we speak is about to be given some pointed ears poking through, like I did my Gatanas in the wants thread.

Makes me think i should return to haunting local flea markets. Very nice score! I have everything old school I could ever want, but could easily spot what other folks might be looking for.. i could see a few parts bins yielding some nice pieces on the cheap!

although i could maybe use one or two more heli-vipers at 2.50 a pop...

Great finds, but that Ninja Viper is an amazing find. Congrats. Even finding any worthwhile vintage toys at yard sales and flea markets isn't easy around these parts.

Though a $0.33 StarDuster w/helmet may still beat you.

I stopped by the "Bazaar Mall" for the 1st time today....was starting to loose hope...then I saw a bin in the back of a Guy's Booth.

Little Bit of time, and $17 later... I came home with this lot:
