Man.. I tried watching Transformers again.. that show was balls. At least in the animation department.

GI JOE still holds up for the most part.

I..will admit... I was a fan of the My Little Pony cartoon as a kid... I might just watch it to see if I still like it.

I think the sh... I mean poo is good, balls is bad. But I found the animation in the first season was in fact pretty poor. Not only that, the errors in the animation were incredibly bad. This isn't the little stuff like a different boots or something. There was one scene where all the Autobots pulled up in a line and transformed in to robot mode one by one. All of them went from car to robot except for the last that went from robot to car. Then there were 2 seekers talking to each other that were exactly the same color who were supposed to be different. Several other things as well. I watched an episode from season 2 and found the animation was much improved. Still, GIJoe consistently had better animation.

Were all the GI Joe episodes up recently? I checked today and only the first few miniseries were available.

Balls is bad.
One thing I do like is how cavalier they are with death in Transformers because they are robots.

noticed that for the first time ever after watching it on the hub throughout the winter. it just plain sucks. gi joe holds up better... sometimes alot better.

The third season of Transformers, which takes place after the movie (so Hot Rod's in charge, no Prime, etc.) is pretty great popcorn sci-fi opera stuff. It's about on par with the 1986 season of GI Joe (which isn't really up to snuff with the 1985 stuff, in my opinion). The first two seasons of Transformers are trash, though, compared to GI Joe.

Yup. Makes me realize how little of it I've actually seen. Watch an interesting one about Leatherneck and Cobra's military academy. So many obscure characters for customizing!
