$6.75 for the Renegades figures minus Storm Shadow. TechnoVipers, and Hazard Vipers.

Sounded tempting, but then it charged 25$ shipping for a single figure.

Why is the shipping so high when I add items to my cart?
When initially adding items to your cart, the shipping total you see may reflect the fastest shipping method available for your items. If you proceed to the final checkout page, you will have the option to choose different, and less expensive, shipping methods.

This might explain it.

I decided to check that out, and then:

Quote:
Select a shipping method:

* Express Mail International — $34.90
April 26, 2012—April 28, 2012
* Priority Mail International — $25.25
April 29, 2012—May 3, 2012

You'd think businesses would have a distribution point in another area to put down on the cost of shipping.

Send in bulk items, then distribute.

How many out of the US customers are lost due to high shipping?

You might want to contact the guy. He's very reasonable. I could just be an error. Wouldn't hurt to drop him an email just to be sure if it's something you are looking for.

Actually that's about right for Priority International Mail to Canada. I just paid about $25 to send a couple figures in trade to another member in Canada and it went Priority. What I don't see them offering is the cheaper First Class or Parcel service.

NerdRage isn't a big company at all so this isn't even close to possible for them. The international rates quoted above are right based on the current USPS rates.

Thanks for the heads-up. I hadn't done business with them before, but that's a pretty solid reason to start.

Yeah, If he's pretty much just taking stuff to the post office and shipping like I do, then it's accurate. I don't know his shipping method. I got some stuff through him though and he's very quick on shipping and packs the boxes well.

This is why I won't even offer anything but basic air mail to Canada. It's $3.30 to mail a small envelope by air mail, Priority would cost an absolute fortune for the same thing.

Got my Techno Vipers in the mail yesterday. That was some priority like turn around. And the figures were packed nicely, with packing peanuts even.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to thank you all for your business, it is greatly appreciated.

I would like to address the international shipping issue, and hopefully clear up a few things for our international buyers.

We do offer First Class International shipping, which is by far the cheapest method for shipping outside the U.S. Unfortunately, like U.S. based First Class shipping, it is subject to weight restrictions.

Once the weight limit has been reached, Priority International and Express International shipping methods are all that is available. Those two international shipping methods are not cheap, but the prices are completely out of our hands.

Our cart uses an integrated USPS shipping calculator, and all prices are set by the USPS. In addition, all prices can be verified through the USPS website.

I understand shipping is a huge issue when purchasing items online. Unfortunately, it is a price that can not be avoided.

If you have purchased from Nerd Rage Toys in the past, or plan to in the future, you can verify all of our shipping prices through the USPS website by entering the shipping info that is printed on your package. We do not over charge for shipping, and we do not profit off of your shipping costs. We even go to the extent of refunding any excess amount that may have been paid.

As stated in our FAQ page, we do add a $2 handling fee to all packages though. That covers the cost of the packing supplies needed to safely ship your items.

Hopefully this explanation clears up any confusion about the shipping chargers. If any of you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. We would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
