I have been trying to make a video of my room since I moved here. I was finally able to make a couple videos on my phone and post them on youtube. So here it is, my Joe Room. Turn your volume down to watch, its just static in the background. Enjoy: My Gijoe Room Part 1 April 2012 - YouTube My Gijoe Room April 2012 - YouTube |

Awesome collection. My favorite part is Golobulus hanging out in the top of the Terrordrome (and all they Pythonized stuff.) |

How did you decide what to put where? How many different Cobra Comannders do you have displayed? I like it, I'm just curious about the thought process. |

I started planning this Joe Room the moment we made an offer on this house. I knew I would have a Flagg so I kept that in mind. I also measured out the room and the shelves and tables I had and came up with a couple layouts. This one looked like it would work the best. I was running out of shelf space for figures so I started putting them on other shelves in little displays like that. At first I only had one or two Cobra Commanders but in the last 2 years I have picked up a few more different versions. I wanted to display them all instead of putting on the back row somewhere so I added them to each little Cobra set up so they all could be leading troops into battle. |

Your collection is exquisite. How big is the room? I only ask as your flagg setup doesn't look as cramped as mine has in every toy room I've put it in. |

Nice job. Your collection makes mine look like the pocket brigade. Not envious, just respectful. |

Nice collection videos. On the bottom shelf, are those CGIs with Rock Viper head and gold Steel Brigades customs? |

I just checked your customs and didn't see any of your Flagg crew listed. Can you post pics of them? They are the ones working on the plane as you pan down the side of the Flagg... |

I think the room is 10' x 12', or 10' x 11' Yes, bottom shelf is extras and customs. The CGIs I head swapped to make my own UK version. They were actually Funskool CGIs. Yeah, the Gold Head Steel Brigades are customs I did. Only the one in the middle has the right body part recipe. My Flagg crew customs are simple LBCs made out of Shipwrecks and Cutters. I just swapped the heads with some I had on hand and on some i popped out the lower arms and switched them. Club Exclusives??? Meh. I still have the Swat RTV (Hammer) on the shelf, the only thing I want to keep. And I have the Club Undertow and Cobra Commander, the Undertow is in a box somewhere. I sold everything else. |

Thanks for the videos of your room. I am trying to get a feel for mine will look like as I started the process earlier this week. Your room size is comparable to mine. I am not sure if I want to hang the aircraft I have from the ceiling. I don't trust drywall for this. |

One question always comes to mind when I see an (awesome) toy room like this. How do you keep the dust off of it? |

I don't look for the studs in the ceiling, i just put the hooks in the drywall nice and steady and I haven't had a problem with hanging up the planes. I dont dust it. It needs it really bad, I am glad that didn't come through in the video. I guess because the door is always closed and Im not in there a lot the dust doesn't build up too fast. |

I like to use these in drywall http://homedepot.digby.com/homedepot/pr ... yId=&path= If I remember correctly they come rated as high as 150 lbs. |
