Ok those guns look familiar. Who came with those originally?

PS anyone want the glider?

They remind me of Alpine's gun. Like a modern update.

I believe the first time he's appeared were with RoC Covergirl at Toy Fair. But then they didn't end up being released with her. I agree that they appear to be meant for Alpine. Because a single carded Alpine was planned, they were probably created for that release. I would imagine that this figure came with them just as a way of getting them out there.

That figure looks more like it should be Slipstream, too.

I thought maybe Alpine's but the ammo magazine isn't slanted off the gun. It could be they were going to use it.

They did re-use the Slipstream base to make the figure.

I could have sworn they were released with some other 25th figure.

I thought so, too, but I went through my 25A gun bin last night and did not see this one. Not that my collection is complete, but it's pretty darn close.

That gun is a Beretta M12, if that helps.

Since we're asking about guns and Ace, anyone know exactly what the pistol that came with Ace in the new Skystriker is supposed to be. My guess was the P226 that the Navy uses but I can't find one that matches that front barrel. Also would do you call those vents on the tip of the barrel? It isn't a flash suppressor is it?

Ported barrel? Compensator?

On a Glock:
http://averagejoeshandgunreviews.blogsp ... orted.html

It lets gas vent at the top to push the barrel back down and recover faster. Could see having one on a .40 or .357 SIG...

Ah cool. So Ace's pistol is probably like a P99 with a compensator then?

Probably.

P99: http://www.carlwalther.com/p99acc.htm

Would fit better in a plane than the M203...
