So tonight during the one-hour Cena/Rock special that preceded RAW, there was about five seconds of action featuring The Rock as Roadblock, which I have to say looked pretty impressive. Then during RAW, during the confrontation between Rock and Cena, Cena specifically cited Rock's role as Roadblock in the G.I. Joe movie, by name.

What the heck, the publicity can't hurt. I'm really pulling for this movie to be a box office success, as well as the toys, for the sake of the future of the franchise.

Wait, a show dedicated to guys talking to each other ran a special that featured even more talking?

Well, tonight there were a couple of full commercials for G.I. Joe Retaliation during WWE RAW. For all I know, they've been airing elsewhere, but I don't watch a whole lot of television.

I'm glad to see these promos, and I have to say I like the look of this movie a whole lot more than the last one.

Another rather extensive preview for Retaliation during RAW tonight, this time with some behind the scenes stuff. As I said, this movie is looking a lot more impressive than its predecessor.

But when did the date get moved from March 29 to March 28?! Releasing a movie on a Thursday? A little unusual, but it is over the Easter weekend, so maybe that's a factor somehow.
