I have had about EIGHT "invitations" ostensibly from JoeArmory.Com to join their Facebook page or what the heck ever today. No offense to JoeArmory, but I am not on Facebook, I don't want to be on Facebook, I have no intention of joining Facebook, and I really wish these invites would STOP already. Anybody know how to get these to cease? |

That JoeArmory guy is out of control. My apologies to everyone who is getting these emails. Ive gotten several texts, emails and FB messages that its sending out endless invites to my address book. Apparently this is the result of some sort of hack/glitch, since its sending out to people already subscribed. Of course FB makes it difficult to try to find a way to stop it. I THINK by deleting my contacts list it SHOULD stop. If not, I'm welcomed to suggestions. Anyone know of a quick way to contact FB technical support? Again, I apologize to everyone for the annoyance. |

The frequency of these leads me to think it's a glitch with FB. Normally, these wouldn't get repeated every hour like clockwork, they'd just go out once. So while we can certainly send our fair share of hate and blame toward ZG for having the unmitigated gall to want to reach out to his customers through his business's Facebook page, this isn't really his fault, it's something wrong with Facebook itself. Pretty sure it'll work itself out and stop soon enough. ZG, I would start sifting through the FB Help Forums or try shooting a note to FB Tech Support directly to let them know of the issue (which I'm sure somebody with less patience than you has already reported a million times.) Maybe if you tell them how it's affecting your business (I know I won't ever buy from you again because of this But really, folks - don't flick ZG too much crap - he's not the culprit here. You should have only received 1 email and instead you got several (so did I.) I know that it's super-difficult to hit that "delete" button more than once a day - especially with the old Compuserve email servers, but I know we can all get through this and emerge stronger because of it. |

Remember everyone this is your own fault for not being more careful with your accounts. Here are some other articles about companies getting hacked. Forbes article on security. Consumer Reports article on security. New York Times article on Mobile Apps phone security. http://gijoeclub.com/ccinfo.cfm |

ZombieGuide would make a great code name for a Dreadnok. Or at least a designation. |

Anybody know how to get these to cease? You want to stay away from something "new"? No "LASER BLAST"? And I'm sure finding time in your jobless day to delete one email an hour is a horrible inconvenience. It's not John's (JoeArmory's) fault but a glitch affecting others too, https://www.facebook.com/help/community ... id=2086040, so cool your knee-jerk Luddite tendencies and go chill for a bit. BTW: Opinions on Trekker are in no way endorsed by JoeCustoms or pluv and are wholly my own, so don't get whiny and self-righteous to him about it. More than happy to take the hit for 'em as I don't really give a rat's ass. |

Geez...that was just kinda...mean. Wow. At least I learned something from that, I guess, having to Google "Luddite." |
