I think it looks better than ROC packaging did. Of course, it's also far too big. If Hasbro wanted to cut costs, smaller cards and bubbles would have gone a long way. |

I don't especially care, since I'm not a moc collector, but that's hideous. |

Define "a long way". The cases figures are shipped in are standard sizes based on the cargo ships from China and the delivery trucks to stores. Shelf space is standardized by stores. If this card is actually bigger, it's likely still within all the standard dimensions and only different to have a different visual effect in stores. |

I don't think it's actually bigger. I think it just appears that way since everything is spread out over the bottom half of the card and not just crammed down in the lower right corner. It's unfortunate that we've lost the individual card art, but since that just ends up in the trash anyway, I'm not real bothered by it. They could sell these in brown paper bags for all I care. |

I'll admit it's a bit generic, but it has the film's big draws quite visible on it (The Rock and Snake-Eyes), and it shows the toy's gimmickry.... So this just might get kids to notice it more. Ultimately, that's the packaging's secondary function. |

It's been said before, but it looks like the A-Team packaging, which was awful. Not only does it look highly generic, it looks like The Rock is mad at the GIJoe logo. Lousy logo must have killed his family. Like others have said, I'll be throwing the boxes out, so it's not THAT big a deal, but I don't relish the day I walk into TRU and see a wall full of a hundred Rocks staring angrily down to my lower right. |

Shelf space or not, what stores want or not, toy packages are bigger than they need to be. Take 2" off the vertical, 1" off the horizontal, it'd still have enough room for all needed visuals and text, room for the toys and such. I'm not asking they throw toys in a plastic baggie but if companies want to cut costs, then cards and such need to be smaller, and if the stores can't get behind that then they need to get a clue. This is basically material that's thrown out and doesn't need to be used so excessively. |

Damn I miss being able to go to the JCPenney outlet store in Mesa and being able to get bagged Joes out of that huge basket they kept them in. |
