So I was all set to renew my membership to get the footloose.

1. Can't do it online...online link says it's down due to the fraudulent charges.

2. Can't do it via phone...recording says it's not possible due to the fraudulent charges.

I don't really use checks...I'm a 27/m and it's 2012. Maybe my grandmother might....suggestions?

Too late to mail a check or money order, it would've had to be postmarked by 3/9 last week.

It didn't need to be postmarked by the 9th, Just in their office and processed by the 16th. About the only option I see would be to overnight a check/MO with the form filled out: http://gijoeclub.com/CLUBrenewalformONLINE12joe.pdf

Please note the deadline to receive the 2012 free figure is March 16th. This is the only date you should be concerned with if you need to renew. As long as we receive payment by this date, your membership will meet the deadline requirement. Thank you.
Overnight mail is still an option.

I thought I read about the postmark last week, guess I'm mistaken. :-(

Overnight mail costs a lot but its your only option now.

They recommended having it in the mail by the 9th to allow time to get to them....having it postmarked was never a requirement.

about $19. I know it is more than what most would pay, but I thought it would be cheaper than having my membership start late and have to order Footloose later.

Is there any way to contact them about this issues. It's like they don't want my money. Any chance they will extend the deadline?

Maybe they would respond on Facebook. The 16th was their hard deadline they refused to move.

The only option I could even think would be possible today is call them and get someone on the phone. See if they will enter you in good faith due to THEIR problem. Make sure to extend the fact that THEY are the ones causing the issue. You can use your credit card or cash to get a money order and send. Or you could also wire the money and have it there today. But make sure to insist the fact that the situation is what's causing the problem. All they have to do really is allow for one more figure if it's an issue of them having to get their order into the manufacturer. There is really no reason they can't make some exceptions, but you'll have to make sure to get the money order or wire it. Speak with them about it and there will probably be a solution.

I guess my only question is why would anyone wait this long to do it? Their credit card problems have been widely reported...their March 16th hard deadline has been widely reported. I would say 90% of the online community knew what the issues were leading up to this, if you want the 2012 membership so badly, what reason would you have for waiting until literally the very last minute?

To play Devil's advocate, not everyone is really active in the online community and it is possible people might have known it was coming up but not exactly what day. Add to it, this month's newsletter didn't go out to help with a reminder and I can easily see people going "Oh crap" when they realized it was today.
