Today we have Brazil's take on HEAT Viper v2, he's a Joe down there . . .

Ray Green
He is part of all new pilots generation of GI JOE. Fond of speed and motorcycling, there is no bike that he has not yet flown. Exploring the maximum limits of the machine, Ray Green and the shares climbed as tenths of a second decide the success or failure of the mission!
Commands usually; bet with Ray Green. He Has to identify the model, engine capacity and year of fabrication only by the sound of the bikes. Until today, he did not lose any bet. . .
The skintight uniform and boots with giant kneepads actually make a lot of sense for a biker. Moreso than an anti-tank specialist anyway. The v2 HEAT Viper was one of the first Joes I ever had actually (definitely my second Cobra ever) so I've always liked the figure. I think I actually like him better as an individual though, maybe not one with the superhuman prowess so many of the South American (and later day ARAH characters) tend to have, but I could see myself working Raio Verde into my 'verse. This was one of the earlier cards I translated, some of them you can look at and see a structure similar to the US version, but with plenty of them I had no idea what I was going to get until I clicked translate. Not having any idea how they've decided to use the character and with most of the Brazilian filecards not identifying faction visually, added a sense of surprise that's been largely lost from the line for me. At this point, especially with so many updated versions of previous characters, the only thing the bios really tell me is how the character has been slightly changed from what I knew them as. But with these bios I never know what to expect, and they also let me see characters and figures I haven't thought about in years in an entirely different way. This is extra true with the characters from later in the line, since many of them never showed up in the comics or cartoons.
