It's been forever since I've heard any updates from MMI about S.K. OMEGA, has anyone here heard any news they'd like to share? |

Last I heard about it was in August on the WOJM podcast. They were still working on it and planned on releasing the line but had encountered several hurdles. http://whatsonjoemind.podbean.com/2011/ ... interview/ |

They announced the line way, way too early. We're coming up on two years since the 2010 Joecon and very little has come out since then. |

Ill-fated is the word that comes to my mind. Don't hold your breath. |

Like everyone else, I was really looking forward to seeing some pics of the actual products. Maybe. Someday. |

I had a feeling it wouldn't work from the get-go. This was a tiny, starting company trying to introduce a lot of product, including some very large pieces, at the very beginning. They bit off way more than they could chew. |

Yeah I think that's what happened is they were just too early with it. They may have seen critiques that were made and have been trying to redo certain things they decided were issues needing addressing. Smaller companies probably have faced price increases too and may not be able to leap the hurdle just yet. Lots of maybe this or that ideas that could be going on... |

Yeah. Whats the difference if I come in here saying "I'm going to do a full scale G.I. Joe HQ accurate to the cartoon." and then show some drawings. Well, it's nice i have the intent to do that, but is the willpower and cash there? I've been trying to do that for 10 years and I just sold all my diorama parts. Something tells me a company named "Molten Monkey International" probably didn't have diorama parts to begin with. |
