We received word from Hasbro this morning that we can place our order for the new movie toy line figures as early as today. We hope to have stuff listed for Pre-Order soon on our website. The first thing we noticed was the wholesale prices have been increased. Ouch.

The catalog shows Bravo, Delta and Alpha vehicles along with figure cases of 12 per case. There is listings for some "10" Inch Battle-Kata Battlers" and "Dress/Playsets" and 2 Pack Ninja Showdown sets. Woo Hoo!

There is no case assortment break downs as of yet, but we will update our site as soon as we get more information. The release date shows a May 2012 time frame.


Glad to see we'll be getting an assortment of vehicles again, though curious what they'll end up being.

Ouch indeed. Get ready for ten dollar Joe figs. Last time, the Hasbro CEO himself admitted the movie figures were over-priced. Guess they're not learning from their mistake. I'll be especially angry if I have to pay extra for stupid over-sized spring-loaded launchers! Are most parents really going to shell out $10 for Joe movie figs when they are also available at Ross for $4?

That said, much as I hated the movie, I actually really liked most of the figures we got last go around. I hope they are at least as good this time, because after PoC, they better go all out if they want to impress us.

So, aside from the inevitable 5 versions of Snake Eyes, 4 versions of Storm Shadow and 12 versions of the Rock, what are you guys expecting from the movie figs? Since there is no real 'Joe Team' this time, I'm afraid we'll get endless variations on the same 5 or 6 characters. I hope at least they'll have a more real-world military look to them!

I think we won't see Jinx until wave 3 and Lady Jaye until wave 4.
Like you said, lots of Snake-Eyes, Roadblocks, Stormshadows.
We'll see a Duke no matter how big or small Tatum's part is.
Probably some red ninjas early on.

Don't forget about at least one CC with that new chrome dome helmet.. and a couple of Firefly's (no mask, masked, etc), maybe one of the President??

Prices go up because costs go up. Would you rather we keep loosing more and more accessories?

I HOPE we get a new CC figure. That new helmet design is bad ass.

We'll have a convention to grill them on it if they do get overpriced. The convention is just after release and just before the movie. Perfect time to get a load of questions answered from the source.

Yes. I would rather loose more accessories than see the prices rise higher. As it is, I have a whole tub filled with extra unused accessories.

They're already at my local WM! Last night I saw RoC (yes, I meant RoC) figures there on clearance for $9.97. Considering that the original retail price was ~$8, how could I not pass them up :roll: ?! Scarily, they've had them for months at this price, and the number of figs left goes down every time I'm there. Maybe they'll finally get rid of them before the next movie arrives ;-) - I am looking forward to the new product.

New CC mask design looks similar to the new CC in IDW.
