hmm. Something about it just isn't clicking with me. Seems.. "off" in some way.

Very "coloring book" looking art. Or like the Funskool card art. Less "well done painting" looking. Not bad, but still that's what's standing out about it versus the actual Hasbro stuff.

Maybe it's because Quarrel has a certain 'Greg Land' vibe coming form it?

No, I suspect that it's just due to it being not at all good art.

Quarrel's proportions are off. I don't like that one at all.

The Nano-Bat's looks good. They were able to give the green parts a glowing kind of look. The steel-ish color of the body almost makes me wish they had gone with that instead of the grey.

So they're feeding us card art instead of giving us the only thing people care about at this point which is the price.

They are trying to get us to care more. The figs didn't impress us.... maybe the art will? When the art doesn't impress they'll show us some carded samples to try to impress us.

But "What will they Cost?" wasn't on the club's FFS' FAQ... you must be in the minority wanting to know the price.

As far as the Card Art...Meh... It's better than I can do...but it's still just Photo-Chop work on previous Hasbro 25th art.

I think that generic explosion background is getting a bit tired...I really prefer the "Digital Explosion" to the one they've been using throughout the 25th line.

If you're going to settle for PhotoShops of Hasbro Art...why not open up a bit of a contest for a couple different figures' Card Art. Offer a free subscription for the Best Fan submitted Card Art for a specific character and then use that Art on the figure's package.

Why not let your "Fan Club" members actually interact in ways fans might find enjoyable...Oh yeah, that's right, it cuts into Profit Margins...my mistake, I forgot which Club ran GI Joe.

I find myself not giving a crap about the low quality art. As such, I find myself leaning ever towards only getting one set.
