Howdy, y'all.
Is there anyone on here who actually owns a Steel Brigade v2/Gold figure?
If so, I'm trying to match some of the basic colors for one (without paying over $200 ).

In short, what I want is for you to tell me if SB2 's green (vest, backpack) is the same color as another ARAH figure.
For example, I know that Cobra Commander v1 's blue is the same as the blue used on Snake-Eyes v4 .

The colors I am looking for are Steel Brigade v2's green (again, torso and backpack) and dark blue (arms, legs, and some helmet detailing). Once I get your responses, I will try to find these figures (either on eBay or JoeCustoms marketplace) and cook up paint matches.

Can't provide pics for comparison as mine has long been cannibalized many moons ago. Looks to me like Backblast v2 or Serpentor v1 are the closest matches.

First welcome to the boards....
Second he means as in paint he can buy to produce his own type of figs. Mostly Apple Barrel and the like.

I've almost solved the mystery regarding Steel Brigade v1's 4 basic colors (note that I'm not including black and silver, which are almost universal), so I decided to ask about the Gold Steel Brigade.
So far, all of my paint mixes are made from Apple Barrel paints, with a Delta Ceramcoat or Folk Art color thrown in every so often.

This thread covers what I've discovered by myself so far, but the group's findings are listed in the Wiki.

To lnmrls: Thank you for your help. I don't have Backblast v2 (or v1, even though my dad liked it years ago) but it's worth looking into.
