I'm not sure if this story has already been covered, but in between figure reveals, the GIJCC posted how you will be receiving your subscription figures:

For those collectors who don't care about their figures being MIP, this part of the "cost" for the figures may be upsetting. However, as a person who recently ordered a 30th figure from Toys R Us's website, only to receive the figure in a shabby pouch that destroyed the bubble of the figure card, I can live with the elaborate shipping container.

It would not surprise me if the general reaction is, "There's got to be a cheaper way to ship these figures securely". My main concern is that with the box being so long, my mail carrier is not going to have to leave it exposed to the elements on my front doorstep.

Yeah, me too. My first reaction was "Wow, the club is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for code names".

Wonder if their next post will be "Over inflated shipping costs".

Given that these are clearly collector items and that many online dealers, including the club, have packed things pretty poorly in the past I think this is good information to know. And I'm not even getting the subscription. It shows they are placing some thought and effort in to ensuring you get your carded figures undamaged. I don't think this is stupid at all and I am certain a lot of people care.

I can't complain about this. People have complained about their shipping methods becore. If they are charging a premium for the figures having them packed securely makese sense.

The only complaint I have is the same as always. How much? It's like a build up to justify an outrageous price.

WHAT? That's the crappiest figure ever!

And again I say...WHAT? Only one figure revealed this week?

I don't care what they ship these figures in. I am a loose collector. All they are doing is attempting to justify the exorbitant shipping costs they will add to the (potenitally exorbitant) subscription price.

Pretty sure that would do it, since you'll now pay for the double box and priority rate shipping (still the best value, but guess who gives free Priority shipping boxes even for non-flat rate stuff?)
