Hey All,

I was wondering if anybody has this or seen it before, The New Papo Bird Man & War Griffin, it really doesn't say how big it is on TRU.com website & i want to buy one, but i'm real iffy in the fact it might be to small or just generally not worth it, i would love to bash the Bird Man with a Joe body or Marvel Universe one.

Here's a pic...

If I remember right he is about the height of their war horse. Good sized item.

I saw it once. About 6 inches long and at least 4 inches high plus the figure. I saw it from the side and was more interested in the figure so I can't tell you about the wing span but I think it was about 6-7 inches wing tip to wing tip.

Papo's got a lot of great fantasy creatures, it's too bad they're all unposeable figurines.

I hear you on that, but none available at a retail location so i could get a good look at them, they are detailed and sculpted nicely to.

It's too bad, there're a lot of Papo fantasy figurines that come either individually or with a steed, but it looks like the Bird Man only comes with the Griffin....

They're great for weapons and bits too. I wanted lioned themed armor bits for my Kull the Conqueror, and their Lion Man had the perfect pieces. Just chopped him up and now have bracers, greaves, and a nice shoulder piece with lion head themes on it. His sword and other weapon are primo. The decent thing about them and most Schleich are that the weapons are removable.

Now, I have an idea in mind for a Raptor that's been "enhanced" by Mindbender's genetic tinkering. I was already thinking of making a harpy girl for one of my own settings.

Actually that would be a cool storyline to have Raptor mutated or venomized by Mindbender and that bird guy up there looks perfect for it if it had articulation.

Now would mutant Raptor still do Cobra's taxes??
