Picked this up a couple weeks ago and have been reading it during my off time at work (hence my not finishing it yet). I've really enjoyed it, reminds me of the days when GI Joe fanfic was all over. That said, did anyone even try to edit this book? Most of the short stories (I've still got a couple left) have at least a couple of errors, but good grief, did Dennis Tafoya even bother to proofread his work? It's like reading at a high school level. Tons of spelling and grammatical mistakes. In one section, he even keeps switching back and forth between Dial Tone being male or female.

It's a fun book, but someone needs to be shot for letting it get out the door in this condition.

My thoughts match yours, Aaron. Good book, but it really needed some better proofreading.

This series fell off my radar completely at some point, I think it was right after Alpine etc. escaped from the Cobra mountain hideout.

I really liked most of the stories, especially the one starring Skidmark...yeah, you heard that right, Skidmark starred in his own story!
I agree about the errors though. I do hope to see another installment of short stories in the near future, otherwise I'll have to go back to read Siege of Serpentor for the one thousandth time!

Yeah, so far the Skidmark one has been my favorite as well. I like that Duane Swierczynski elected to use an obscure character and add a little to his persona. I think the only one that's been better written so far has been Chuck Dixon's (to be expected), but it was too short to really be my favorite.
