First off YES to comic figures in the Avengers movie line!
Ultimate Thor & Ultimate Hawkeye were pictured. Since I don't care about the Ultimate versions I'm skipping them. Hopefully some more classic costumes will be available too.

New MU stuff...
Wave 4 MU for 2012
  • Professor X YES!!! SUITED FIGURES FOR EVERYONE!!!
  • Jubilee (vampire variant) not a new reveal but new info
  • Blastaar (Variant, may have some blasting hands) Nice! A classic Fantastic Four villain!
  • 2 more characters go here which are still unknown
3-packs
  • New Avengers, Bleeding Edge Iron Man, Thor and Red Hulk(2012 Hulk repaint) total skip for many I'm sure, will be shelf warming everywhere too
  • Inhumans Medusa, Karnak (Black Bolt rumored) another new female mold!

2012 Sneak Previews
  • Black Knight cool!
  • Bearded Thor with war helmet meh I'm Thor-ed out
  • Thor Frog another bizarre one I have no interest in great for the obscure collectors the general theory is he is a 3 pack accessory

Q&A hints

  • Sasquatch 2 Alpha Flight members! I'm predicting 3 pack or comic pack
  • Masters of Evil another 3 pack speculation Baron Zemo is a given with this! Finally an Executioner to go with Enchantress? Radioactive Man is a major player missing. Evil Black Knight so soon after good version? Melter was the last original member.
  • Fin Fang Foom will have some shorts and possible a variant. I already got the BAF one. no mention of the small figure included.
  • Amazing Bag Man
  • Arcade He was the enemy in the recent Captain Britain/Spidey comic
  • Wolverine of course again! :lol:

Hercules: Hell, yes. Decent big-Guy mold with some nice boots and wristbands. Custom fodder for Sword and Sorcery
Angel: Yes. Several for the wings.
Prof X: At last a suited figure at retail. Multiples for fodder
Blastaar: Definitely fodder. I already have a couple of ideas.
Medusa: WANT!. Saves me having to sculpt that nightmare of a hair.
Karnak: Definitely
Black Knight: Definitely
Puck: Definitely for customs
Nova: Hell, YES!

Oooo, I wonder if Puck's tooling will be different enough from the standard MU design and its ensuing flaws to be worth customizing into Al Pratt, The Atom....

Lots of neat figures I'll be adding to my collection. I don't exactly have any suit ideas in mind off hand but I may get a couple Professor X figures just to be sure.

SOOOO I guess the hopes for a Ghost Rider line for the upcoming movie are dashed, shoot I was hoping for something in that realm

Ultimate Thor-YESSSSS! He looks great too, Finally my Ultimates are complete (at least the triad)
Ultimate Hawkeye-Will get just cause they made him, but wasn't high on my list.

[*]Professor X -AWESOME, at last the X-Men's mentor.
[*]Jubilee-I am probably the one person no excited for this, will get if I see it at retail but not excited at all.
[*]Blastaar-Awesome, Very unexpected to say the least.

[*]New Avengers, Bleeding Edge Iron Man, Thor and Red Hulk(2012 Hulk repaint)-It Sucks that they put a highly desireable fig like Rulk in with two other figures that often pegwarm (BBTS has BE and Thor vs. IM packs on clearence) and don't even bother to change them slightly. This is why fans curse at Hasbro (and why figure swappers feel justified, not saying they are, but THEY feel they are).
[*]Inhumans Medusa, Karnak (Black Bolt rumored)-This probalby will have BB, I can't imagine it working without him, but it supprized me to say the least.

[*]Sasquatch-This is almost a given with Puck, Sasquathc has been rumored for a long, long time though
Masters of Evi-Hard to say what this is, but could be a bunch of repacks with maybe one head swapor all new figs (and before denouncing the repack and headswap idea-look above at New Avengers). l

[*]Rogue-Why she hasn''t been done is beyond me, she is probably one of the TOP recognized X-men behind Wolvie, Cyclpos ect just for her movie appearences.

It'd be hard to not buy an Alpha Flight set. I hope that comes true. Any X-Men are welcome to my collection. Really want some more villains so Blastaar would be welcome, and Arcade could be done with the Prof X body and a new head, I imagine.

Since I was never able to get the Ultimate Iron Man figure... easy pass on Ultimate Hawkeye and Thor. If I want movie-ish versions I'll just buy the movie versions.

Lots of good ones. Blastaar will definitely turn into Kalibak. Hercules will find a great many uses in my MOTU customs. Plenty more I'll pick up to keep as they are, but the prof. is at the top of my list.
