Just saw this posted by Justin Aclin on Twitter

Rumors of Hasbro going all out for the NYCC are really starting to gain steam....

1:18 scale Micronauts figures would be so incredibly awesome (if done properly) that I would have a screaming nerdgasm.

I wonder how many people have to be helped up when they first see this sign, haha. I'd be all in for a new MASK line! I'd have to see the rest.

Micronauts and MASK would rock, if done well!

Well, that's the scale they should be in. Microman was supposed to be actual people who were 1/18 the size of normal humans. I know Microman isn't technically Micronauts, but really, the scale should not be changed since at their very core they are really the same toyline. I just hope this means I'll finally be able to get some new, fully articulated machine Acroyears. That's what I wanted Takara to do with their Microforce line, but they never did.

Oh, and the MASK redesigns look kind of cool too. Hopefully they'll be 1/18 as well, but probably not.

Micronauts would be a dream come true. Adding MASK, Jem, & Action Man in 1:18 would be icing on the cake. Every time I've looked at most of the Spider-Man line, I've thought they'd make great Micronauts toys (if not for the horrible, horrible articulation).

...a Jem 1:18 line? That would be awesome.. but would make no sense. I'm sure we'd see 12 inch dolls.

It would be unusual and I doubt it will happen. But it would hardly be the first time Barbie-esque girls toys were made in smaller scale.

Likewise, I doubt Action Man will be anything but 12 inch.

It says on TNI that sunday is the big Hasbro reveal day as far as their other properties. I can bet The Hub will start showing M.A.S.K

Wow...I'd do a lot of awful things for a well-handled Micronauts line. If anybody was equipped to do it right, the modern 1:18-focused Hasbro is it. I'll be looking forward to seeing something about this.

As much as I loved M.A.S.K. as a kid, I'm not sure I have much interest in a modern interpretation of it. I'm not into cars or transforming stuff, so unless the figures are unbelievable (and 3 3/4"), I can divert even more of my money toward those hopefully-awesome Micronauts.
