Judging by some of the comments in the Crysis figures thread, it seems like more than a few of us have video games we'd like to see action figures of, so what do you want to see from the Unimax Game Stars lines? Cast your votes, and please explain which characters in particular you'd like to see and why, and what accessories you'd like them to come with. If you select "Other", please limit your choices to games that feature realistic human characters so as to not be out of place with the 1/18th G.I. Joe world (no Mario or Star Fox, for example).

For me I picked:

Infamous - There's some great character designs that can go well with a G.I.Joe Collection or stand alone.

Gears of War - Obviously tons of potential there.

Warhammer 40,000 - With all the vehicles, mounts, and characters, this would be a win/win for everyone. The only thing that would make this do bad is if the design work was horrible.

Ok, I haven't really been playing video games since high school, so I don't know most of the listed characters. I just wish Unimax would have gotten the HALO license instead of McFarlane. Then we would have gotten Joe-compatible Master Chief, which would be pretty freakin' cool!

They can't, the company that made the A-Team figures, has the licence... I think.

I voted: MGS, Alpha Protocol (no else will, I love that game) and Splinter Cell. How very spy/espionage based of me.

We wouldn't be getting Metal Gear either. No more US companies are allowed since the whole Raiden/McFarlane debacle.

I selected Duke Nukem and Splinter Cell. Duke because you'd have a nice mix of human (Duke) and aliens. Unimax has shown that they can do pretty detailed aliens, so I trust them with some pig cop action ;) They've also shown that they can really accessorize a figure. Duke uses a whole range of human and alien weaponry that they could throw in like with Crysis. They could include an alien weapon or two with each alien figure that would be compatible with the main man.

I chose Splinter Cell, although I don't know if they'd be willing to do terrorists or not. I'd like a sneak suit Sam and a SC2 Sam with a short-sleeve sneak suit top and camo pants. Give him his pistol, rifle, and trident goggles, and you're set. Again, they've shown that they can do good accessories, so I have faith that all his gadgets would be realistic and good quality. Heck- throw in a Lambert with coffee cup while you're at it.

I hadn't even thought of F.E.A.R. There's some pretty neat character designs in that series. Splinter Cell would also be cool to have the multiplayer spies as action figures.

I also always thought the Red Faction games had some designs that would lend themselves nicely to action figures. Especially Red Faction 2.

I forgot all about that MGS2 Raiden thing; good memory on that one. What a shame: of all the existing properties, that would be my top choice, but you're right, MUNDO: it won't happen.

I never really thought about it, but a figure of the main dude from Splinter Cell would be cool; I enjoyed playing the first game quite a bit, and it would fit nicely with the modern Joe line. I'd also enjoy figures from the Ghost Recon games, if for no other reason than it would give me more custom fodder.

I think the Rainbow Six series should be included.

I picked God of War and Fallout, but the one that's not up there that I'd love to see is the Command and Conquer series (both regular and Red Alert). The games have waned in quality lately (though I still say that Red Alert 2 is one of the best games ever made), but the designs for the units and buildings have always been strong.

Grand Theft Auto. Some really cool characters through out the series and all the spin offs. Plus a butt load of accessories. And civilian custom fodder.

Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Nightmare. Great for a small line of Western figures and accessories. Doing Nightmare would be good for exclusives and reuse of the molds.Who wouldn't want a zombie horse?

Splinter cell would be another good small line for all the reasons mentioned.

Left 4 Dead would give us more civilians, more cool accessories since everything is a weapon, and zombies.

Resident Evil would have a ton of character potential with all the games and the movies. I just hope they don't over do the monsters because those things aren't moving in the Crysis line. Then again Crysis isn't RE either.

All the Targets around me have like 3-4 of a mix of Nomad and Alcatraz and maybe one Heavy left. No CELLs, no Stalkers, no Grunts.

I picked Other, Tron Evolution, and MGS, altho now I think I wanna change that to ResEvil. My other has to be Soul Reaver, because it was a fun series of games with some outstandingly cool character and set designs. All this talk is making me want to pull it out and play again. If we go by the precedent of 6-fig waves, here's who I'd want:

Soul Reaver:
1) pre-rot Raziel, right after presenting his wings to Kain. Give him swappable wings with bones in and tattered skin flaps.
2) regular all-rotten Raziel. I don't think anyone could do a stretchy cowl to allow for him to be displayed feeding, so I'd just skip that unless he's given swappable hard plastic cowls. Give him a couple wooden stakes and a couple versions of the Reaver that can be swapped on and off his arm.
3) Kain, with pre-broken Reaver sword
4-5) I forget their names, but the basic Wraiths in both bodily and spectral forms
6) Human knights. Give these guys a plethora of weapons that Raziel can steal, including my favorite 'section of pipe ripped off the wall'.

I list Tron Evolution knowing absolutely nothing about it, but mostly because I'm just really disappointed with the SpinMasters figs in pretty much every respect. I really wanted to like them, but they're just underwhelming in ever regard. Just gimme some crisply-sculpted, nicely-articulated figs with maybe some glow-in-the-dark paint. The light-up effect completely fails to capture their in-movie look and thoroughly ruins their articulation. The figs don't even really look that good just standing there. Let someone else have a stab at it.

And MGS and ResEvil just have a bunch of cool designs, so GIMME.

What Happened with Macfarlane/Raiden?

I voted for MGS because I love that franchise which is rich in characters and possibilities.
Different incarnations of Snake (companies love to give us multiple versions of the hero), the various villains and minions and some cool 1/18 Metal Gears 8-O

Splinter Cell for about the same reasons missus the MG of course.

Resident Evil. Again, great cast, multiple versions of the core characters possible and of course zombies and super monsters. Some playsets could be cool too.
